I’m Alex, a mama of two tiny humans, wife, and fun-loving photographer in Kelowna, BC.
My love for photography dates back to my teenage years where I spent most of my lunch hours in my high school art room. It was there I fell in love with being creative… playing with light and shadows, developing and processing my film — anything that allowed me to transform everyday moments into something beautiful.
Then one day, after having two babies and a 14 year career as a hairstylist, I thrifted a film camera and started taking photos again. I love meeting new people and being invited to capture what makes their world go round. Whether that’s to capture a major milestone, an intimate afternoon at home, or an outdoor adventure with the Okanagan as our backdrop.
I specialize in timeless, authentic photography for couples, families and mothers-to-be. The joy and peace I feel every day knowing that I get to be with my family while doing what I love makes my heart explode with gratitude. My goal is to document you feeling the exact same way. And, to provide you with a care-free experience, produce quality images, and have a great time while we’re doing it!

When it comes to guilty pleasures, I embrace all things basic: coffee, wine, and watching every episode of The Bachelor.

Growing up, I had a passion for theater which led me to the kelowna actors studio.
I began my journey in 2005 with a role in fiddler on the roof. Other shows included singin' in the rain, the king and I, it's a wonderful life, white christmas, the producers, the diary of anne frank and spamalot. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to grace that stage again – this time alongside my own kids!
